Tasting Notes
89% Cinsault, 11% Syrah
Cinsault can make a delightful light red wine, given its lighter contributions of tannins and pigment. Showing here as lighter in body than Pinot Noir, we can appreciate its raspberry, bright strawberry, and Earl Grey tea aromatics, with silken and refreshing play on the palate. Notions of hard candy and red licorice accent the brightness of this wine. We recommend serving slightly chilled, 55-60° Fahrenheit or so. A few minutes in the fridge will do. Drink this young like you would a white or a rosé for the freshest expression of fruit.
